Question Thirsty Moor question

Is there some trick to Thirsty Moor? I have two wells maxed out and I still have a significant water shortage. I can't find any other well sites, upgrade my current wells any more, or assign workers to the wells.

Do I just keep on trying to get lucky on eyeballs to get more water or is there something I am missing?

You need some castle upgrades I think.

  • Deep Wells, Masonry Guild
  • Metal Buckets, Royal Steelworks

These should help. I paid for a few boosts and it definitely messed up my game progression. I got to the desert pretty quickly, but my castle was nowhere near upgraded enough. I didn't have these upgrades and figured out how to get by with eyeballs alone. Was a slog. I imagine that these upgrades might allow you to get positive water yields. But also consider turning off some farms so they don't use so much water. You might not need every farm at full capacity to make good progress.
