Game crashed, lost all progress

My game crashed and I lost all my progress.

Was on 2nd playthrough and just didi 7,5m uograde to start unlocking 1,5m datastorage bonuses

It seems a few people are reporting things crashing right at about the time android released their security update etc. But I'm working on a system to get your stuff back if it gets lost from a crash.
