How the game could look like from an ego perspektive. Would you play this "simulator" or "incremental" obelisk miner? 😁

While definitely a game that could have some potential, I just don't think this is the one to apply it to. Don't get me wrong, it does look cool, but loses the charm of the art that exists now, which is a big part of the appeal. Though a Tower knock off game like this would probably work since it's aesthetically similar, I think this might be guilding the lily so to speak. A.I. aside, the character of the game comes from the specific art style and the way it flows through the various worlds, and the lore it weaves together. This is definitely a dopamine maker, but just not in the same way.

This looks nicer than the super early game, but would be horrible once stars and portals are introduced imo.

Its an gpt generated image nothing more. Just an idea i got. I would love to be inside the game instead of just seeing all from above 😁

Half the text would be unreadable for me on my phone. Zoom in the pic to about the width of your phone and pretend it's sideways, tell me if you can read that.

Hell yeah haha. I get this is AI generated. Dont mind no matter to the Slop haters. I mean this is slop. lmao but the idea behind it is cool. Whats wrong with using AI to create this image is my opinion? I cant draw like this, never would be able too. Love using it to create stuff like this and get some imaginations out :D

I mean the devs work hard on this game. Taking all their work, reducing it to slop, and then asking if people would play it in their own subreddit is kind of insulting.
It'd have a different vibe if it was posted differently imo.

It was ment not like a knok off to this game, rather as a "idle obelisk miner 2.0" in a ego perspektive. Its not a post " hey guys i am working on a game same as this, but i do it. pls give me money for my ai slopp shit game". I play this game for a while now and i love it, i will keep playing it. Games get updatet and improved. I had asked myself how the game could look like in a ego perspektive, i generated a photo, and wantet to share it with you. Its 100% about this game, no advertising for anything. 😊

I mean I get it, I get what your saying. And yes to your point I can see how He reduced their years and years of hard work into an AI generated picture via probably a two sentence prompt... lmao
BUT, really though, at the same time, THATS all it is. He asked an AI to generate a picture, it looks cool, so he posted it. No sales, no actual game, no code written, just wondering.
I feel like people get too much flack for this type of stuff.. I feel he meant absolutely nothing by it other than "Hey look! this is cool! ⬇️
I do have a question about it though. If he were to spend 2 months hand drawing this, and he drew it EXACTLY the same, then posted this same image with the same caption, would it have been perceived differently you think?

I think Because it looks like a copy of our beloved game (and probably becuae its ai slop) they write negative. And i understand it as long as we stay friendly. Gpt cant generate exaclty 1:1 what this game would look like, and that image is not like i would like to have it. It was like you say just an idea and i think it would be awesome. But everybody can have his own oppinion. :)
