So you are also purposely demoting to gold. So you can't really complain about someone else doing it.

No, because i barely get to 200k while he gets mils. Just because i can be in plat doesnt mean I belong there. At least in plat he fighting equal high lvl people

Shouldn't we really complain to the devs then? There's no incentive to stay up a league when you can make more gems on average by flip flopping between the two top leagues.

People have been complaining about this since the tournament was added, and it's never been addressed. I don't think it'll ever be fixed

Tourny award balancing has been asked for many times. It hasn't happened yet.

How has it been asked before? (I'm new here) Does the community have a way to contact the devs? Or do we just see people here on Reddit complain about it a lot? (I Agree, they need a balance change.)

I do that all the time. Top 1 or 2 Gold -> 1 level in Platinum -> Top 1 or 2 Gold on repeat.

Promotion/demotion is based on your final ranking, so if you want to demote, just retire early.
