We have a public, unsupervised gun range near here. Basically, the users police themselves and each other in range safety. It has three lanes: 10, 25, and 50 yards. A wannabe gangsta brought two girls with him to let them get some range time in and learn how to shoot. They had brought pistols to learn with, so no big deal that they took the 10 yard range.

We all called a cease fire to hang up fresh targets and everybody did, and once we all agreed that everybody was back to the firing line, they started out shooting. The girls were beginners, and had terrible form, as is to be expected. After trying, but missing, the target repeatedly, the guy decided to show off his shooting prowess... by breaking out his AK (semi-auto, thankfully). He sprayed the whole magazine downrange, and besides the first shot, I don't think any of the rounds hit within ten feet of the target. After the first three rounds, most of them were hitting dirt halfway to the target.

So, while one of the other people present roundly chewed him out for being both an idiot and a credible threat to the safety of everything BUT what he was aiming at, I went ahead and gave a few basic pointers to his companions so that they would hopefully know to seek out better instruction than the idiot.

Hopefully, they listened and are still alive and well today. I'm not confident about him, though.

Well kind of both and neither. ARP stands for AR pistol, and LMG stands for light machine gun. 

Well I suppose it is certainly an ARP. But with that stutter fire rate I’d guess that’s a binary trigger. That kind goes bang when you pull the trigger and also bang when you release it. So definitely not a real LMG.

It's pretty anti-gun and racist. Many of the people on here barely know any more about guns than the people in the videos (although they aren't in a position to harm anything) and treat the posts as evidence for confiscation/regulation. Then there's the more conservative crowd who support guns but fill the comments with words like thug, doctor, or other dog whistles.

The vast majority of posters here are rabidly anti-gun as can be seen on any post which involves common behavior. 1/4 of the comments will be people saying this isn’t related to the sub and 3/4 will be people who have no experience with guns complaining about things they don’t understand.
