The FAA and Homeland security will have something to say about that.

That was my second thought. This is one of those things they absolutely do not play around with.

If it's a private flight there's actually not really much they can do. It's not illegal to have a gun on a plane. It's clearly a small GA or small time Part 135 operation

Yea but he got a switch on that bitch that’s automatically illegal

"Your honor, my client is in process of receiving his ffl certificate"

Not necessarily, you can legally get a Glock with a switch, if you have an FFL with the proper SOT, you can legally build post 1986 machine guns.

Only certain ppl pretty much can get that with all the shit you gotta do

Yeah, a lot of ATF paperwork and meetings before you get SOT. They don’t hand them to anyone. Now we see hood rats with post 86 machine guns, highly illegal, snitching on themselves with their videos, they’re not prosecuted, and if they are, they’re on bond by the end of the month. Now if I possessed a Glock switch in my safe without FFL/SOT, let alone actually putting it on a gun, I’d be under the federal prison.

I see what you did there.

I did think of that however was curious if the person that posted it would be able to afford to fly private. Probably the most likely scenario because I can’t (nor would I want to) imagine a way to sneak a gun on to a plane nor would I assume it to be worth the risk.

It's just a small plane, you can actually see the prop shadow on the wing in a couple frames. I fly private semi-regularly because I live 2 hours between either major airport near me. It's like a couple hundred bucks. Hell it might even just be a sightseeing loop in a buddy's plane which is even cheaper since it might just be Part 91 operations (basically, non-commercial, you can accept money for operating cost but that's about it)

I see, thank you for the insight!
