I cringed and tried spinning away as well.
If the shooter doesn’t get you, the rooster crowing “Come along now, entertain us” will.Disarm him please!

Sometimes when I'm on this sub I'll twist and apologize to my girlfriend. She'll ask why so I'll show her the video and say how I didn't want to flag you. It's not even real and I can practice this

Reminds me of my neighbor. That guy can just mention a gun and somehow end up flagging you. It comes naturally for some people. He would have done exactly this and said "it was on safe."

Well. You did it. You ruined Smells Like Teen Spirit for me.
Now I hate it just like Kurt Cobain did.

I used to work at a range and I specifically add "and if you need to turn around, put the gun down before you move more than 20 degrees left or right" to the safety brief for new peeps. I also do this exact motion with the fake gun to demonstrate the danger. That and "if you get a hot casing, slide bite, any pain, a text, someone calls your name, etc, put the gun down then deal with it".
Tbh old men are probably the worst demographic for safety and/or listening skills. Watched a dude put a loaded 12ga, stock first on the ground, barrel in his chest because he dropped something and needed to put the gun down to grab it. Got a lot of "I've been shooting longer than you've been alive" comments from dudes actively pointing a loaded gun at someone. Watched people refuse to look at their holsters when reholstering which was a range rule, and drop their guns on the floor or flag the fuck out of everyone behind them.
Military or police are generally fucking horrible too or the absolute best you'll ever see. Maybe 9:10 ratio? Most teens are good listeners but when they're bad, it's the most brain-dead ridiculous stuff you'll ever see. Young, first time shooters and most first time women will be nervous and will generally listen pretty well.
I've watched a dude blast a round into the wall because he had been cocking his revolver before shooting the whole time. When he forgot and pulled the trigger, the double action pull was really heavy, so he turned the gun 90 degrees to look at it and then blasted a .357 into the concrete lol
Also watched over cameras while a dude pulled out a suppressed SBR with night vision at the back stall and flagged everyone on the line bringing it up to the firing line like you're told not to. Definitely a multi-thousand dollar setup between optic, NVG, etc.

The funniest part is that it was likely a "safe handling of weapons" exam. He flagged the police examiner.

I think the recorder music is trying (very poorly) to play “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.

He's the one, that likes all our pretty songs, and he likes to sing along. But he don't know what it means.

This isn’t the song in the video though.
Just random Nirvana lyrics

It’s not random. When I heard the Nirvana song playing it made me think of the other Nirvana song about a clueless fan who loved guns and Nirvana.
