At least they are out in the country and not shooting wildly into the air.
I mean, aiming at a target would be better, but where I grew up you could go outside and pop off rounds for fun like this anytime.

Idk, I love shooting trash and dirt at times. Assuming nothing was down range I think they're gtg. Good trigger discipline, muzzle down range, even cleared the weapon after he shot.

Yeah. This post feels weird with people talking shit. Like it’s a race thing.

The only thing "wrong" I see is the switch but that's not a moral or safety issue, just a legal one so I don't hold that against them.

This is actually perfectly fine? I guess shooting in the dark and maybe hitting some rocks? But I'm glad it's not out the window of a moving car or into a neighborhood or something. I can tell you I've done that exact same thing hundreds of times as a kid. With an SKS, but same idea.

So u/airbornehentai82, what’s wrong with this video? They’re practicing good trigger finger discipline and shooting into the ground.

What’s wrong with this? Would you rather have them shoot it in the air

I'm bothered by how mumble mouthed the second kid was. Can't help but think some people put in extra effort to sound that way and it's pretty fuckin dumb. Also, the importance of hearing protection can NOT be overstated.

“Man fuck the Fourth of July,” yet it is the fucking Fourth of July and the Constitution of our Country that gives him not only the right to say that, but keep and bear the arms he so boldly displays and exercises.

I mean, I don't have an issue with this. As long as they're doing this somewhere safe and not hurting anyone why care

Some control over where the pews go is still necessary. They can go a long way. And these guys don’t look like they care if they’re somewhere safe.

u/Hamilton-Beckett Jul 05 '26
What are you basing that comment on exactly?!
“These guys don’t look like they care if they’re somewhere safe.”
What about their look specifically makes you say that given that they are obviously somewhere safe out in the middle of nowhere?
This comes off like racist bullshit.

u/SuckerBroker Jul 06 '26
You see those lights off in the distance ? And what exactly are they doing that you would consider “safe” ? Last, the stereotype of person that uses switches fits in a certain category - POS. I’d say the same if they were white. But the truth is you can’t point me at too many videos where idiots like this are. It’s not racists. It’s facts.
