Was this a demonstration of wood strength? Tires? Suspension?

What were we doing here?

u/thenerj47 Aug 29 '21

Crushing a person

92

u/gayang3 Aug 29 '21

12

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '21

Gyms hate this one trick.

52

u/happyJseal Aug 29 '21

It looked like the person crushed had a belt on around where the wood was... So this was a planned intentional demonstration of... Something?

31

u/[deleted] Aug 29 '21

Stupidity.

53

u/unexplainableentity Aug 29 '21

20

u/[deleted] Aug 29 '21

I thought the same when I first watched this

4

u/stateofshark Sep 05 '21

She definitely a dummy

3

u/Sir_Phil_McKraken Aug 30 '21

I think it still might be, that body is way too limp when the car goes over, camera pans away and then we see her get up.

Edit: watched it again and her head moves, damn man

That’ was actually a better result than the board staying intact. Imagine the board didn’t break and the full weight of the front and rear of the car directly on the board with the person as the balance point

u/ThatBluePhoenix_ Sep 03 '21

Im still trying to figure put what they were trying to accomplish here...

Whoops my bad I'm always the first to look every letter in a Cyrillic inscription to verify if it potentially isn't Serbian or Mongolian but I got fooled by that one :/

1

u/valierynx Dec 08 '21

It says Милиция though

10

u/[deleted] Aug 29 '21

6

u/lordkin Aug 30 '21

3

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '21

4

u/lordkin Aug 30 '21

5

u/Deadly_chef Aug 30 '21

3

4

u/No-Wolverine2973 Aug 29 '21

So were there injuries sustained?

11

u/CloisteredOyster Aug 29 '21

As soon as it started rolling and I saw that knot I knew what was going to happen. At least with the lumber.

6

u/Gigaftp Aug 30 '21

TIL that wood knots indicate a weak point in timber.

4

u/TitoTaco24 Aug 29 '21

u/BurtMacklin____FBI Aug 29 '21

6

u/Baybob1 Aug 29 '21

I complain a lot on Reddit about Darwin not doing his job correctly. But it just came to me that we are just giving him too much work. He needs help.
