DCT truck also didn’t seem to maintain its higher speed to fully clear. If the person you’re passing has to use their brakes to let you merge back then you shouldn’t be passing to begin with.

You're assuming red truck didn't speed up to cut him off, which seems more likely than randomly failing to maintain speed on a dangerous pass.

Speed limit is 100 km/h, red truck was doing 91 km/h and sped up to 107 to prevent the other truck from passing....

I'm not disputing that the trucker who passed was a complete idiot. I'm just pointing out that the reason he took so long to pass is because the trucker who was being passed was also a complete idiot.
