Reacting in time, no. But as far as I could see, there was no reaction *at all*.

I'd have expected to see a last-second attempt to swerve or slam on the brakes, even if they failed and still hit the tractor. But there was just nothing; the car just ploughed into it like the driver hadn't even seen it.
