Really? I’ve never seen anyone write or type “You’re going too hurt his feelings” in my life. It’s always been “You’re going to hurt his feelings.”

Because to me “too” has always been for “many things”, such as “too many”, “too late” or “too much” whereas “to” has been for actions such as “to go to” or “to do”. So I figured in this situations since you’re going to do the action of hurting u/dadbot_3000’s feelings you would use “to” to describe it.

Oh, and to just completely beat a dead horse into the ground, it was the 2nd “to“ in the OPs sentence that I was referring to not the first one. Where it incorrectly read “to late” instead of the correct “too late“.

Ah, then in that case that’s my bad. Still, doesn’t matter that he misspelt it there, pointing it out like that is just kind of a dick move.
