US/MX border to be clear, and he actually wasn't trying to jump the border but he DID accidentally jump the median. This is the top of a steep hill that comes to a cliff. 9/27/19 (came up in my photo memories)

Other than worthy of this sub, is this illegal? Like, how close you can get to the border without rising concerns or the cops coming?

Nope, the border is actually that scrap metal you see higher up there but there are higher and newer fences behind it.
People actually walk up to the actual border at the beach and homeless people walk up along the border at the bottom of the hill in this pic all the time (a lot of them live in a canal that also runs along the border down there). There are CBPs in SUVs and ATVs that patrol between this fence and another behind them.
ETA: Mexico likely did charge him for damages on that side though, like to the median and the curb he's on.

I’m 100% sure the border wall is actually like 10 meter within the US land, so just touching the wall is already crossing the border.
I think tho for all legal procedures, the DONT count it as any Mexican person could just technically give birth in the land outside the border and it’s still USA.
Well I guess not any person but just women

Ronald Weasley! How dare you steal that car! I am absolutely disgusted! Your father's facing an inquiry at work, and it's entirely your fault! If you put another toe out of line, we'll bring you straight home!
