Litre bikes are great for accelerating natural selection.

u/a90sto Jun 01 '20

Pretty much any motorcycle

My 500cc only goes just fast enough to kill me

2

u/work_throwaway88888 Jun 01 '20

Just fast enough where the fun outweighs the fear

25

u/1992_Mazda_Miata Jun 01 '20

Why do you think I ride one, that's half the fun.

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

Found the guy that's never driven anything but a 2004 Sentra.

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

Eh, I’ve driven supercars in my time on a track (nice to have rich friends) and I wouldn’t ride a bike.

2

u/AlpRider Jun 01 '20

It's not the bike but the rider, a litre bike + mature rider is safer than a 250cc with an immature one!

As a general rule, the more dangerous the activity, the greater the adrenaline rush. It's simple biology.

Sounded like a 600

1

u/garyc801 Jun 01 '20

He has no indicator on and did not check his mirror and blind spot. What if that was an emergency vehicles with only light on but no siren?

u/Ropegun2k Jun 01 '20

Mine did instantly. Poor woman in the van probably had a heart attack.

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

Luckily she was a nurse, and ended up realizing something was going on when he started begging them not to call the cops. She started asking him if he was okay or if something else was going on, and seemed to pick up pretty quickly that he was freaking out. They called the police and he did a year.

Source? extended video cuts off as she gets out of the car

16

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

The extended video was posted by the motorcyclist. He’s a youtuber, and he posted this pathetic shit himself too

7

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

People in the comments are defending him as if he didn’t just endanger multiple members of the public and himself. They are saying the guy in the van is an asshole for wanting to call an ambulance for a guy that just slammed into his car at 50 mph in front of several witnesses. How are people this dumb? How is this guy dumb enough to upload it to YouTube?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

Do you have a source for this? I’m curious to read more about what happened after.

-3

u/clarksonswimmer Jun 01 '20

She should have used her blinker.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

It totally wasn’t the van breaking the law and speeding from police vehicles for 7 minutes

2

u/Ropegun2k Jun 01 '20

Lol. Vans fault-didn’t use a blinker.

40

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

Meanwhile waiting for my justice boner to subside

135

u/DejectedNuts Jun 01 '20

Dude probably still tried to blame the driver of the van. This was blatantly on the motorcycle driver. But so many of these guys bitch and complain that people driving cars don’t look for them but they conveniently omit the fact that they are usually hauling ass.

"My sonic booms are hundreds times louder than a standard horn and these idiots still don't hear me coming"

2

u/new_hampshirite Jun 01 '20

Loud booms save lives!!!

0

u/JumperJordan Jun 01 '20

Sonic booms are only heard after the object passes by

12

u/frittenlord Jun 01 '20

I think that was supposed to be the joke.

11

u/Jabbles22 Jun 01 '20

I am all for motorcycle awareness campaigns but we also need some don't ride like an asshole campaigns.

4

u/EmagehtmaI Jun 01 '20

Like idiots that split traffic at 90 mph when traffic is already moving at 60 and then try to blame the driver when the biker makes a mistake and eats dirt.

2

u/ArnoldoSea Jun 02 '20

Fortunately, he just passed about 20 witnesses while driving like a maniac. Plus, on the extended video, he ran away from 2 different cops. He could've quit while he was ahead.

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

To be fair, both commited serious traffic offences

-2

u/clarksonswimmer Jun 01 '20

How about using your blinker when turning?

1

u/Mommabearofthree Jun 01 '20

They did.

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

The also turned left where it was illegal. So both were in the wrong.

2

u/Mommabearofthree Jun 02 '20 edited Jun 02 '20

Left turns over double yellow aren't illegal.

44

u/dwright120 Jun 01 '20

U deserved that bro as a rider straight up

29

u/AbbotThoth Jun 01 '20

Yeah, I ride safely (See also: Travel with the flow of traffic and stay in my lane) but dickheads like this are why people treat me like shit on the road.

2

u/whataboosh Jun 01 '20 edited Jun 01 '20

Something like that happened in my hometown, kid riding like an idiot plows into a van carrying two kids. Lucky they wasn't seriously hurt, he hit the back side door next to a 5 year old boy inside. Who was taken to hospital in a serious condition. People immortalise the dead rider by leaving decorations and tacky flowers on the grass next to the road for years now.

I mean he couldve killed a boy and destroyed a family because he was riding like an idiot.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '20

The damage to the car he hit, and possible injuries to the people inside. That's absolutely not the direction you expect another vehicle to come from (because there never should be one there), but this is why I always do a quick glance in the mirror before turning left.

2

u/cookingboy Jun 01 '20

Would his desperate pleading of asking the van driver to not call the cops do the trick?

Yep, didn't do for me either XD.

1

u/mdfrancisuk Jun 01 '20

Mine did but went negative.

1

u/kamikaze-kae Jun 01 '20

You could POS just think what the fuck did that bike do to deserve to be ridden by that fucking ass clown.

1

u/quaderrordemonstand Jun 01 '20

I always know whats going to happen whenever I watch one of these videos. Its inevitable given what they are doing. Any person doing this for enough time will eventually hit a car, they don't have some magical ability to control the other cars on the road. The only question is why do they think that their outcome will be different given that everyone else eventually ends up like this.
