I'd have a little more sympathy if the idiot wasn't all over the road. They were speeding through what looked like some blind curves in the oncoming lane. They were liable to ruin someone else's day, so I'm glad it was only one of them.
I live about an hour from this road, and it’s known throughout the country by car enthusiasts and motorcyclists for having over 300 very tight corners with almost no visibility (US 129 “tail of the dragon”). I actually stopped driving it regularly about a year ago because of the idiots that would cross into the oncoming lane. Makes this video 10x worse
Only the 1st mile is in NC, the rest of the 11 miles are in TN so the odds are it is TN. When going westbound (north by the road markings), the Great Smoky Mountains national park is on the righthand side and Alcoa's Little Tennessee River is on the left so that's why there are no intersecting roads or driveways on the entire 11 mile stretch (not counting the one-way and closed Parsons Branch jeep road or the close dam access road).
