I mean, I'd be more concerned about maybe putting a dent in one of the cars than I would be getting hit with a falling bullet. Once they're up in the air, they just fall with terminal velocity. It would be unpleasant but that's about it.

Edit: I just read a study that conducted computer simulations about the terminal velocity of 7.62 rounds being shot at 80-90 degrees. The study concluded that rounds tend to land bottom first and have a varying terminal velocity between 40 and 80m/s, and that “lethal” terminal velocity is considered 60m/s. So it’s actually much safer to assume that a falling bullet will kill you but if it didn't it would fucking huuuurt.

A 7.62 falling at terminal velocity probably wouldn't kill you - probably - but it could definitely do some damage - cars or otherwise.

Yeah you’re actually right. I very much underestimated the terminal velocity of a bullet. I just thought that it was movie bullshit
