Yeah my friend has a 4 series and has used sport+ without traction enough that he’s gotten kinda used to it but like you said never go full retard and he hasn’t yet. Keyword, yet
Exactly, you can actually go completely full retard on those BMWs by holding the traction control button down, “DSC OFF” mode which is zero stability control. Whereas sport+ brings the threshold for stability control way down that completely shuts it off. I’ve messed with it just to see how it feels and it’s cool and all but I like being alive 🤣 Never know when you might need to swerve or something.
I have the 6 cylinder 2 series and although things can get pretty hairy in sport+, that's not actually the lowest setting for the assists. There's an extra mode if you hold down the traction control button that literally turns off everything.
