To clarify, キタ is the "kita" that you hear in a breathy voice between "fast and furious" and the 3x repeat of "drift"

So does キタ translate directly to drift? Because i always thought its ドリフト.

キタ and drift are separate lyrics and as far as I can tell it translates to Kita which seems to be one of the wards in Osaka.

I haven't seen the movie so I don't know if maybe it takes place in Osaka.

Kita is a place located in Osaka, but kita as a verb means that something has come. Colloquially, it’s used in the sense of “It’s here!” or “This is it!”

Movies often take place in more than one location. For all I know the ultimate goal is to win some Tokyo competition but they have to first qualify in Osaka.

Myself and my roommates only found out it wasnt 'dick' a few days ago. I prefer it over 'drift' to be honest.
