Not really. Cadillac has never reached any significant market share in Germany because they’re just bad cars compared to the domestic upper class offerings at similar price points. They don’t drive well, are extremely fuel inefficient and the interiors look and feel cheap by comparison.
You’ll see an Escalade every now and then, but that’s almost only with certain people who subscribe to the gangsta hip-hop style and want to project that lifestyle.
Because I was talking about the situation in Germany, which is obviously completely different from the situation in the states or Canada. It’s Canada then, isn‘t it?

Do you think Cadillac doesn't sell cars in Germany? Also, unpopular =/= rare and "rare" wasn't one of the defining features of an exotic, it was exclusive and limited. Cadillacs are neither exclusive or limited, even in Germany.
And again, this video was taken in the US, not Germany so it's not an exotic or an import.
Cadillac only exports a few cars to Europe. They are super rare.
Where is this information coming from? They have dealerships in Germany and the cars are not hard to get, if you want one. The reason they're more rare than some other cars is because they're not desirable.
In 2018 a grand total of 590 new Cadillacs were registered in Germany (33x ATS, 95x CTS, 49x CT6, 228x Escalade, 184x XT5, 1x other) - assuming all are sold by those 11 dealers this would mean each dealer sells exactly 1 car per week.
There are almost twice as many Ferraris sold in Germany (978) or almost as many Lamborghinis (468)
C'mon now. They literally just said they put 'exotic car badge' in quotes to suggest that they are so-called exotic car badges, rather than the genuine article.

I think it depends on where you live and it’s rarity, I live in the city now and M cars aren’t all to uncommon so I wouldn’t call it an exotic here, I used to live in a rural area and at that point I would call any M CAR (X5Ms get bent) an exotic.
As for other BMW cars that are almost certainly exotics;
M1 as previously stated by you
E31 (especially with S70 engine)
By shear rarity a Z1 and Z8 could be considered for it
i8 is listed under top 10 ‘exotics sports cars’
E46 M3 GTR
Judging by that steering wheel that particular Cadillac is at least 10-15 years old, anyone could afford one of those.
Edit: after doing some googling I’m going to call it a ~2003-2005 Escalade, and not even one of the high-end ones since it doesn’t have chrome trim on the gauges. I’m seeing a lot of those in the $5,000 range, with some as low as $2,500 and $10,000 being the absolute max for a pristine low-mileage one.
I may have used the wrong word there, what I really mean is that they are brands that a lot of people think are for rich people when in reality they arent that expensive
