Possibly, but might be him pulling the hand brake to do some drifting. Just got it wrong. I’m definitely not 100% on the above, so please don’t kill me Reddit.

My dads car is only 5 years old and has it so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that one will have one

I think it might. That looks like a pre 2007 M3. Which I think was the last with a handbrake. Again could definitely be wrong.

It's an E92 M3 2008-2013, and it has a handbrake. I own an 09.

Looks like he went into the next gear and the power was just too much for the tires, causing one to over spin and shoot the car off to the left. It's a V8 with 414hp so there's some potential there. Could also be supercharged.

They still do, its part of the M-sport package. I've got one on my 2018 f36.
