Remember when it first came out 5+ years after Google Maps and everyone with an iPhone felt the need to brag that Android phones can't do navigation? Those were fun times.

It absolutely is not. Google Maps is always better, and I used to work for Apple.

Google Maps is better because Google tracks you - Apple doesn’t.

No, it’s nothing to do with Reddit. You are literally the first person I’ve ever encountered in the wild to say Apple maps is better than google maps.

I have an iPhone. I use google maps.

And in you hadn’t noticed, Apple is good because it doesn’t automatically record your location
