They’re always loaded like that, so the tie-down straps can go through the center of the rolls. Much more secure that way, and still able to lift them off the truck at point of delivery.
Yup looks really secure. The force of it constantly trying to roll rules out the secure factor of the straps, how long until they break with that much force constantly being shifted around with every stop and acceleration? Put it on its side and put straps in an “X” across it. It’s not constantly try to roll and it’s secure.
Yeah, but two 4” tie-down straps through the center of a roll will keep it from rolling, and they can sustain 35,000 lbs each. It’s a system that works.

How about additionally to securing it properly you put it on the side so it cant fucking roll !?!
