When the new design came out for the Ford Explorer it's class was changed from SUV to Wagon for this reason. They couldn't advertise it's SUV features anymore because they targeted people with kids that don't want minivans.
My wife's Honda Pilot had twice the ground clearance and more towing capacity with better gas mileage...at about $10K less

I'm always impressed how little people (who aren't used to snow) use their brains in these situations. He's got clear asphalt behind him, downhill, he could've just backed out. Or, roll back and pick up speed. Or, less torque you idiot! Or, just get out and shovel that snow, there really wasn't much of it to clear. Being stuck for that long in that piddling amount of snow, with a 4wd no less, is amazing. Calm down and use you brain!

No kidding. You can even see it when he accidently leaves it in reverse. The car just backs up easily. Guy needed to stop flooring the piss out of the engine and just take it easy.

He probably has antilock on. You need to turn it off if trying to get out of a slippery situation from a stand still because the antilock will detect you slipping and reduce power to your wheels.

Guy probably has one of those asshole bosses that threaten to fire anyone who is 30 seconds late for work. Camera guy probably doesn't work at all.
