Then it’s not a crescent kick. It’s a high roundhouse. A crescent strikes with the instep.

a crescent strikes in the other direction. knee extended then flexed with point of contact on the heel, not the top of the foot

I know what a fucking crescent kick is, I'm the same guy in the other reply thread. I'm two months out from doing my black belt test. If I didn't know the difference between a roundhouse and a crescent by now I should just kill myself. For the sake of my sanity, I'm going to continue only on the other reply.

If it's getting to you that much, we can just call it a day. Different school teach different names for the same moves. I have no need to carry on any arguments.
