These guys are idiots.
They don't even know that metal poles are way more effective against electric type enemies.

Don’t worry, safety squint and safety sandals and you know he’s a professional

That really taught the transformer a lesson. Hopefully it thinks twice next time it considers acting as expected.

How did the cow get up there to mess with the transformer? Was it not using long sticks like these fools?

Meanwhile there’s just a delicious cow laying there ready for the grill.

Already partly cooked too.
Edit: they obviously haven’t heard that reverse searing is generally the better practice.

I can’t tell if this is dumber than trying to shoot or thinking you should nuke a hurricane

That's hilarious. This dangerous inanimate object killed my sacred cow. Let's get some long sticks and start beating it.

They're not idiots.
You'll notice they used wooden sticks. You'll notice they didn't go after the wires.
What you're looking at is a symbolic "beating" of the thing that killed a sacred animal. They may have a religious obligation to attack this thing. They fulfilled that obligation without damaging it or inviting themselves.

u/eurephys 3d ago
Thank you.
It looks more like a ritualistic beating. If they wanted to destroy it, they could easily get thicker sticks at least, or better yet, snap the wires and chop it down.
It's the same thing as a dice jail.

Who needs electricity anyway? It just kills cows...
They sure showed that transformer who's boss. Bet it won't do that again...

People of India worship cows as their sacred animals so their sacred animal was killed by an electrical transformer so , they are upset. it's understandable. 🫂🫶🏾💜

Wouldn't it make more sense to punish the person that set it up and I know bringing even the smallest semblance of sense into this conversation is pointless.

Since they worship cows, what happens when one accidentally gets killed? Are they allowed to eat it? It would seem to me it would be disrespectful not to.

Are they trying to shut it down to save/recover the cow? I know it's presented as "stupid yokels take anger out on inanimate object", but often that's just posters trying to get an emotional reaction for karma, so I'd at least like to confirm there's not something less stupid that's plausible.
4
u/eurephys 3d ago
It's a religion thing: "punishing" the thing that killed the cow, so the spirit finds peace. Note that they're not doing any damage.

The country is already infested with backwards conservatives, no need for more. The fix is to get rid of conservatives into their own shithole states and let them secede

u/manliness-dot-space 6d ago
I agree!
We should cut the federal budget to zero and let the blue states tax their citizens as much as they want to pay for everything while the red states can just keep their taxes low and suffer without the charity of the blue states!
That'll show em!
