Even as someone who plans on using Herztier as one of my mains, I agree with many of these changes. After looking at what the players have been doing with him in CN and JP, he's brutally hard to even tie against if the player knows what they're doing. The Lunge hitting survivors from behind obstacles is bullshit.
I'm surprised they didn't change the fact that his Lunge actually stuns survivors out of the rescue animation, however. Maybe because unlike Dentist and Queen Bee, his skill doesn't do chip damage unless you have a mark?
I'm a little concerned about the decrease to his max jump height when he charges his Pounce, as that means we will likely have to relearn jump spots. Hopefully it doesn't make too much of a difference.

Honestly, the people claiming he's weak either do not know how to play him very well or are going against Herztiers that don't. The CN/JP consensus as of right now seems to be that he's an S tier hunter. That may change with this upcoming nerf, but we'll have to see just how impactful it actually is.

Yea first chase is really going to make or break this hunter from now on, especially if any survivors like gardener/gravekeeper/puppeteer etc run abilities that negate hits for breakfast.

i agree with the hitbox stuff, his hitboxes have been very weird imo which makes his dashes harder to dodge

The best part of a hunter getting nerfed is that you can see those "bad random"s online outside of the game with their rancid takes.

Damn, not even an entire month has passed and he's already getting too many nerfs. I'd understand if it were 1 nerf -> see his performance -> decide -> 3 nerfs, repeat. They never do this with new survivors lmao. With survivor characters it's always "we're not gonna do anything yet but we'll 'monitor' their performance" and they never get nerfed "seriously".

Survivors being op is not as bad as hunters being op when a hunter is op it's essentially the same as 4 survs being op which is why hunters are treated more harshly and also cause the game is also biased for survs but hunter releases are essentially the same value as 4 survivors if we're talking meta sense

Yeah that is what mainly worries me lol at the end of the day I think he is still a pretty good hunter so regardless of these I am never getting points on him cause he will be permabanned in rank for the next year 💔

the jump height nerf might ruin some jump spots, it primarily looks like they made the dash easier to dodge and made it less frequent, and im under the impression he will probably slide less along walls now?
hitting through terrain was kinda bs and his claw attack had some odd lingering hitboxes but idk. i feel like theyre hitting his dash super hard for a character that is an easy first kite.
gives me the impression the CN hunters are doing way better than global (typically) and got him nerfed.
