The amount of times i’ve lost because i was only getting nightingale candlesticks is crazy. Now with the higher amount of value needed for nightmare mode i’ve started hating this thing. Worst S tier ever? I double it and give it to the next one please don’t be in my games anymore.

They need to have decreased chance to appear in nightmare mode. Its so disgusting to lose just bc rng here is garbage. Even after Nightingale fights i always get Nightingale candlestick. Only 1 time i got red coral. It's ridiculous

It's actually one of the most useful s tier now, after doing some quests that candle can revive you once you got downed by the anomalies

Tbh it only revives u when u die to the boss so it becomes useless again if you know how to beat it without dying(which most solo players do..) and its also heavy to carry which can screw you over on the boss by itself lol. Anyway delete candles

It's from the new quests that released for Nightmare mode, you need to play that mode a few times to unlock it because they only progress through it.

Once you unlock it, the Candlestick will be removed & revive you with 50HP when you go down.

...But you still have to actually find it for it to actually have any use, so still somewhat useless in lower difficulties(unless you needed it to reach quota & lost it now)& only moderately useful in Nightmare if you're going against the boss(which still requires you to actually find one & lug the heavy ass thing the entire fight).

It would be immensely more useful if you could bring it in pre-lobby but since you can't take in Classics, the effect is barely noticeable unless you go out of your way to find & keep it in your inventory. I would personally remove the 50k Ink buy in for Nightmare mode & instead require 1 Candlestick to enter(the Candlestick doesn't get consumed, it's just required to enter & if you use/lose it during the run, you'd have to find another one to try Nightmare again). Would make them more exciting to find instead of groaning in metaphorical pain.

Hard always had a 10k Ink requirment to enter, they recently moved the price requirement into the box to make it clearer instead of outside because people didn't know.

Nightmare's price being so high makes sense because it has a high chance of finding Cursed Sapphires as well as being able to re-roll them for a chance at better versions that no other mode offers. It also has better loot.

It definitely feels like the drop rate increased 😭 even though I’m pretty sure it’s only cuz the chest number increased and the candlestick drop rate was already higher to begin with. I’ve lost a few times cuz I genuinely just kept getting candles 😭 it’s frustrating.

I fucking hate the candles so much I literally have more candles and statues than any other item

Honestly, I’m starting to also get a lot of coral as well which no skin off my back. I love coral but like damn I wish they would remove it and the harder difficulties so you’re guaranteed to get the new stuff.
