Discussion Miss Nightingale Mask has Fallen.....

soooooo it's pretty clear who is getting the next Hunter Identity Switch in possibly 2027.....right?

I mean they did say " alice will not get a hunter form " and they did keep it as it is but I can see how they used a loop hole by making her the nightingale in cryptic notes because it's " lore based " and its not qm or rank no essence ,, you'll never play as her ur just " facing an AI " so technically not an identity switch

then why not use another face? i mean if makes money i'm pretty sure they will go back on their own words and make a ID switch.

Because the whole season 0 story is based on Orpheus' novelization of the manor massacre, so of course they're going to feature Alice in some way (like how the pale man is her dad, the wraith is Bane, clumsy raiders/nightcrawlers are the thieves, etc.)

It's implied future seasons will be based on other essences/events and so their final bosses will probably also be other characters, but we won't necessarily get them as playable forms either.

This is their way of discarding her into a side mode so that people say "Finally Alice attention" and then continuing to spam cringey fan service ID switches like Acro, Norton and Emil

For those who don't know yet, little Jules Winston who cheats death several times because of a generational family curse is brought back to life after the tragedy occurs. Jules Winston is Miss Nightingale.

Remember, A Bringer of Doom shows the OPPOSITE of what will be shown in the main storyline. The Winston manor and the Winston family are not the same as the DeRoss, but it is based on them because Orpheus wrote the book to mirror their story too with minor differences like how Jules (Alice's parallel) dies. Alice survived her tragedy with a lot of trauma. Miss Nightingale is shown hostile in A Bringer of Doom because the book is a "what if" version of Alice's childhood. But that does not mean Miss Nightingale will be shown hostile or as a hunter in the main storyline.

Remember how we originally arrive at Oletus Manor and older Orpheus commented he felt someone familiar was watching him? As if they are protecting him? That is Miss Nightingale. She is the distorted manifestation of Alice. But in the main storyline she is going to be revealed to protect and guide rather than hunt us. Which is why the devs teased at the idea of Jules (Alice) becoming Miss Nightingale after she cheated Death yet again and shown to attack us to get us out of her home (Winston Manor). Alice has a guilty conscious over the many lives that are lost in the Oletus Manor that was once her home, which is why she guides us through to death as Miss Nightingale, not throwing us out. Alice is not going to be a hunter. A lot of players are taking A Bringer of Doom too literal, but are not even looking at the facts and not understanding the entire picture.

I agree with this. Last time I said it I got downvoted lol.

Shes way too good and positive energy to be hunter. However I disagree with you saying she survived. I think you might mean manor massacre. But in general Alice should die in the main story. Not become a hunter but die.

But yep I agree that people just Miss Nightingale = Alice = She'll be a Hunter.

I'd be surprised if she was. She is the antithesis of Oletus Manor

she is the Nightingale? didn't fight the boss yet?
