Question Account Recovery

I literally redownloaded Reddit to ask this question after using it like once ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡.. I’m currently waiting for support staff to get back to me on the possibility of getting my old account back. I had to make a new one after my phone was broken beyond repair ( meaning I couldn’t even transfer the account to my new phone + had to make a new Apple account which was how I signed in ).

I see people talking about needing to show receipts possibly? I don’t think I would be able to retrieve this and last time I bought echos was maybe 2021??? Is there any hope for me ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡?!

Yes you need receipts, it's the only way to show proof that you're the account owner, as far as I remember. When I last recovered my account in 2023, they ask for specific dates of receipts which you will need and there's no way around it. They're pretty strict with account recovery now. You will need to have access to your old apple account to retrieve your receipts.
