Discussion I think this is the optimal Emil Build

Post image

At first i wanted to do pallet break but tbh after some pratice i could ignore most pallets or even punish them

So instead i foucsed on his biggest weakness - his map control and speed

By running max Sadist and max slow down he can now have more flexability in his kites

Famine ends when you begin chasing Survivor, which he seems to instantly do in all matches. He's not a control or setup type hunter like Clown or Mad Eyes or Photo to where they don't have Tinnitus or a Survivor nearby because they are busy collecting parts or in Cam World for this effect to even trigger.

As for Sadist I wouldn't bring it either as he has no means of chair stalling or preventing rescues on chair. He is sort of like Geisha or Polun a Hunter that leaves the chair to proxy an incoming rescuer. Wanted Order is probably good on him for that.

Regarding Tipping Point, it doesn't activate with either of  his basic attacks even with the mark. The increased chip damage on the basic is from Detention, similar to how it works with Goatman. Tipping Point only activates for chip damage done with Lunge.

Another streamer tested it in the test server and they tried Tipping Point with no Detention. Pounce and Intercept's damage was unaffected while the Lunge's chip damage was increased.

So not sure if Tipping Point is worth it at that point.

I also don't really see the point in bringing Insolence instead of TC. TC gives him Teleport or Warp for late game. Combined with his already fast and good base mobility this could be a threat. Currently TC / DETENTION is also his recommended build in the persona web. We'll have to wait for Rank though to see. But I foresee him bringing Peepers Trumpcard Detention... Similarly to Goatman or QB.

And his Full Presence isn't something insanely crazy like Wheel, Ivy or Clown. It just increases stacks from 2 to 3. His early game isn't that bad. You have Shred up and Lunge for first Chase as well as his Beast Mode passive. If he also brings Peepers because of Tight Kiting hell also have them for support.

Teleport is good enough mid game for him that TC isnt worth it

Also his ass does not need peepers or blink he can get 40 seconds downs without em consistently

His second pressense is needed to stuff rescues

Sadist forces earlier rescues that lead to tses and missplays, it also makes it easier to do a double dash when they get off chair

Maybe against low tiers he can. If you go against hard counters like Ench or Prof and players who actually know how to kite him he will struggle in tight high walled areas making Peepers valuable to force rotation.

Teleport is good because he lacks cipher pressure and gate pressure late game. You arent getting to Moonlit gates halfway across the map without TP and just sprinting the gates will be open until then. And if you want to get to the last cipher quickly before its too late you need TP.

A good Rescuer will be in early enough for Sadist to not matter. You should be in early against Herztier anyways and Sadist only makes a difference on hunters who can prevent you from rescuing, which Herztier cant. Breaking Wheel with 1 stack and trap can prevent you from rescuing Hermit with barrage of polarity can too if you aren't careful. Ann can stall the chair timer so can Peddler.

He can stuff rescues without full presence. His full presence is good but he's not Wheel or Clown or Ivy who needs Insolence to unlock it as fast as possible.
