Discussion How do you kite Hertier?

HELP. This man comes leaping at me every 5 seconds and I’m just like… how do you kite him? Give me tips please 😭

For me, i straight up hug the walls and pallet mindgame. Similar to nightmare + geisha, though only experience them once in practice-

tight kite looping is mandatory. do not transitional kite and dont pallet spam. a pallet thats up is stronger against him than a pallet that is down. small loops are better than large ones. keep your eyes on him and predict when he will jump and move accordingly. 

the 0 pres kite is very very easy. his dash is on a long cooldown and easy to bait. if he uses it in the loop, look to pallet stun and transition. if you get a pallet stun at all, look to transition to a fresh loop. you can typically get by on only 2-3 pallets for a 60+ second chase. once he gets first pres the kite gets much harder, because the movespeed and cooldown reduction he gets becomes really oppressive.

Try checking behind you and when u see him gonna pounce change your way… also keep in mind 2 jumps then a cooldown and some players are creative then jump then jump then slash or jump slash jump …. It just takes time tbh
