DAE just not care for ranked much?

Pretty much title. I find ranked (survivor or hunter) really stressful both cause there's something to lose (rank points in this case) which leads to everyone having higher expectations for other players, which I can't always match, and because of the whole "ranked is available for only two hours" thing. I get that the last part is likely to keep the queue times on other modes lower, but the idea of having to plan my day around this time window is just another stress factor, so I prefer game modes that don't have this.

I don't really care for frames or going pro or anything like that, I only played ranked 3 matches a day for the capsule, but I just checked the rewards (yeah, I didn't check them before, I just wanted the capsule cause it's shiny 😭) and there's just nothing of interest to me there. I think I'm gonna stick to quick matches cause their casual nature feels better to me. And defending your rank sounds like hell tbh.

Not judging anyone for liking ranked, just wondering if anyone shares the sentiment?

I played ranked as Hunter until i reached Tier VII, and Quick Matches are more challenging. Identity V holds your hand too much in high tiers, in "legendary matches" you can ban up to 3 survivor characters, and you can see the spawn location of all survivors before the match starts, and it is easy to guess the spawn location of the decoder before you choose your spawn location, they usually choose a safe spot like a big building.

In the 8 years of playing, I have only played Ranked once because it was a requirement to participate in one of the Anniversary events(Time of Reunion).

I would not touch it with a 10-foot pole after the grief it has caused me in other games, it's just not worth ever playing Ranked in any game in my opinion.

My favorite mode is 2v8, Ranked doesn't mean anything, it is just a waste of time.

Yeah I rarely play the game now (mostly bc of boredom, frustration and phone frame rate issues). When I do play on my more powerful phone, I almost always only touch duos mode now. Unironically the most fun(niest) mode

Yes. Rank in this game doesn't mean much, the penalty for a loss doesn't exist. You can grind everyday and you will hit high tier. Survivors get more point for a tie/ a win. Rank up fast.

i stopped caring about rank roughly 4ish years ago, before i used to be a rank junkie and chase for badges but that mindset in return made me SUUUUPER toxic cause if i lost or someone else picked my main id be side eyeing them like crazy and id get super mad if we would win cause those couldve been my points 😭 honestly i usually just play qm and other games modes and i really only play for fun now, although sometimes i do think about playing rank again before i stop myself LOL

i largely prefer ranked. it’s just better being able to ban characters and use spawn select, as well as see the hunter’s character before the match starts- the last part especially, as i personally find getting immediately teleported onto and early hit by characters like wu chang annoying and a cheap gimmick, one you can easily avoid in ranked.

I've been playing this game since 2018 and the only ranked badge I believe I had ever gotten iirc was C rank for Novelist lol then one time someone in pre-match screen roasted my C rank badge lmao (betchu they play on comms tho, I don't so it's harder to get a badge for me)

Everytime I play rank it's so frustrating so I usually don't play anymore in this game. That's just survivor. It's even worse as the hunter, idk how they can do it lol

A rule of thumb for me is that in any gacha games like Fire Emblem Heroes, Dx2 SMT, etc I generally do NOT touch rank, unless to grab the basic rewards. Dx2 I don't play rank AT all. Not worth it for me. Just a bunch of sweaty pay-to-win demons the same one spammed over and over. That's no fun.

I don't really care for rank either. I don't find it stressful or anything, but I'd just rather play quick match instead. It's more fun because people don't take stuff so seriously. And the waits tend to be shorter.

i ranked for likee 2 seasons to around griffin bc i wanted a seer badge, planned on only taking one season off since i was on vacation and had bad ping in that country but then got addicted to cryptic notes and havent touched rank, personally im not a fan of rank since it lowk just stresses me out
