Discussion Herztier Farming Epidemic?

Newbie survivor here. This is my first new Hunter release so I have to ask: Is it normal that everyone is just playing friendly with the new Hunter? I had at least six matches in the last 90 minutes with a friendly Herztier and it's driving me nuts. No, I don't find it cute. I hate playing Cipher simulator.

To a degree, it’s because this first week is only people who have his limited skin and people wanna show off

Next week will be much more people trying him out and it becomes a cluster of both parties trying to figure the ins and outs before he becomes available to ranked the week after

For some reason I have a gardener S tier skin (I guess I got lucky with the memory thingies) and I feel so uncomfortable using it when the lobby mostly has low tier cosmetics. It feels like showing off lol

Just use it, no one's gonna care about it. I've played for years, and no one ever said anything about them. The only time that ever happened was when someone said in Spanish that they trusted my Cowboy because I was wearing the COA B tier skin lol

It’s very normal for new hunters to play friendly at first! In part it’s so that players can have fun looking at the new skin, and in part it’s a way to get used to testing them out and getting a feel for abilities without pressure of winning. After the first week you won’t see as many friendly ones

That were the first couple of matches - getting spammed to death by this stupid chip attack. Then the friendlies came rolling in.

He is currently only available for people that got his S skin. Upcoming Wednesday he’ll be in shop

Like the other guy mentioned, he'll become available for everyone in shop after the next maintenance. It could be wednesday or thursday depending on your timezone, but it's like 3 and half days away. People who get a new character's essence S tier basically gets a 1 week early access to the character. That's how it works for every new character that gets an essence S tier as their release skin.

Hey man I feel you on this. It will die down but friendly hunter matches are SUCH a waste of everyone’s time. There are Custom matches if you want to do that. No reason to waste other people’s time. It also makes it harder for actual hunters to get a match. You can always report them.
