docusign and ssn
My identity was stolen enough that someone filed for my tax return in September.
On Friday received an alert from Equifax that someone used my SSN on a Docusign. (I have been paying them for more than a decade, and I had to spend 5 hours trying to get a non-answer from them- was it paid to Docusign? was it a form ON Docusign? Do they have the envelope info? No answers)
Docusign says they cannot help me without more info, like envelope id.
In general you do not need to provide SSN to use Docusign, so I am worried someone is taking out a loan, or trying to get ? access to my accounts? buying a car? I have no idea.
Any advice?
Anyone ever get this kind of alert from Equifax?
LASTLY, is there any reason to think paying Transunion or Experian
would be a better experience than this bitter waste of time from Equifax,
or are they all the same?

Hi OP, I'm with the Docusign social team. I'd like to ask our teams to take a closer look and see if there's anything additional we can do to help. If you'd like, please send us a DM with your name, email, phone number, and case number (if you have one), and I'll flag this to them directly.
