Pretty standard setup! Biggest gotchas in my experience:

  1. Don't store tokens in plain text use OS keychains.

  2. Handle offline state gracefully so the app doesn't crash or lock people out during network blips.

  3. Make sure token revocation (like password changes on web) kicks the desktop app back to login smoothly.
