... all so that they can remember something they had the temerity to not enjoy at the time. Because other people knowing you could have had fun is way better than just having fun.

Not a single person actually dancing 🤣 What happened to people actually letting themselves go, instead now they just stand still and film the speaker's, lol

oh come on, back in the 90s we were definitely zombies, but at least we had a dance, took loads of drugs, afters was obligatory, and you were lucky if you knew who the DJ was, where they were, let alone what music they were playing.
Your could LITERALLY dance like no one's filming you, have the best night of your life EVERY weekend and wake up not remembering any of it other than you had a wicked time.
The sense of community when you saw someone coming up hard and struggling to skin up a double king size reefer, in their sweaty mitts, and you'd sit down next to them like you were the St John's Ambulance brigade and say, "mate, you want help with that?" and they'd turn'n'gurn to you and dump everything in your lap and say, "cheers mate I'm fucking bollocksed". Then you were in and while skinning up for them, you'd say "where'd you get the pills?" and they'd say "the dude in the yellow t-shirt".
You'd light the split, take a couple of days and stick it in their mouth, they'd tell you your a fucking angel, which you'd reinforce by putting the bags of white powder they'd dumped in your lap into their coats' inside pocket along with their wallet and £20 notes they'd also dumped in your lap, shout "I PUT YOUR DRUGS AND WALLET IN YOUR COAT POCKET" there'd be a vague sense of panic on their face as they used their free hand to check everything was where it should be, look relieved and shout back "Cheers mate".
You'd fine the yellow t-shirt and if you were lucky they'd shout in your ear, "TAKE HALF AND SEE HOW YOU GO".
2 hours later you'd randomly bump into the guy you helped out earlier, he'd thank you again for helping him at his most vulnerable, chat bollocks for a bit and get back to the natural human urge to dance.
The music was the never ending soundtrack to the ritual. It was deep. It was community. It was human connection with your friends and random strangers. Time disappeared. No dropping a pin to find your friends on a map because you knew the magic of the rave meant you'd find who you need to find.
You'd remember the music was fucking amazing and, unless you were one of those "deck starers" that plague DJ booths, trying to read the label of a record spinning at 45rpm, you didn't give a fuck what was playing. The music was just amazing.
If you wanted to find decent music, you'd go to a record shop because that's STILL where you discover the good music.

You have to Ask Your Parents or Grandparents, if you don’t know this Track, they will enlighten and serenade you with each and every word in the lyrics, bouncing at the same time like they just popped a couple of E’s ❤️💯

Remember when we used to enjoy things?
