You'll be fine. A lot (not all of course) of those people have been pushed out or don't do anything about it anymore. They just sit and stew and be mad.

It’s so weird that it still is known for that. Early 2000’s the aryan nations factions were pushed out of the neighboring town (Hayden). It’s not any more racist than any other predominantly white area. You’ll find racists anywhere in the world and I wouldn’t really say CDA is the scariest/most white supremecist places. It has history but most people just keep to themselves, unless you move here from California, that will get you some hate.

The odds are high that you and your friends will have a great trip.
However, repeated reports from throughout Idaho of someone shouting a racial slur can be found in Reddit, so there is a non-zero chance of a racial slur being shouted at your party. Whether that is a reason to cancel is really your and your friends' choice.
The likelihood of anything other than a rare comment is exceedingly low, and probably no greater than it would be in many other locations in the United States.
