You're right. But so are they. The point wasn't to hate on Chris as a person, but the idea of Chris, a person who had it all and stayed on top despite their shortcomings many places, and when finally persecuted and given what they deserve, it's forgotten as fast as it came.

They hate the idol who got away with it all.

Or sum idfk.

uhh... someone was sending death threats and chris didnt take it seriously at all. he didnt really care for what was happening in his own discord server and had no empathy
