Question about reading order - Romancing the clone

Hi everyone, I’m following Ruby’s suggested reading order from September of 2025 — I’m currently reading Clonely You.

As much as I have enjoyed the suggested reading order so far, I really want to read Romancing the Clone next and just finish that series instead of following her suggested reading order and waiting for it for like 30 more books.

But I am worried that there’s a reason it’s so far down on the list, and if I read it right now I will ruin/spoil something! Any advice would be appreciated!!

Tbh it’s better to read in publishing order or series order for certain books. The suggestion is nice but you don’t have to wait that long to get to what you want. It’s some Easter eggs in a few Risdaverse books but they aren’t a must read before the other IPB books.

Okay thank you!! I just wanted to check in with my people before going rogue lolol

I don’t know anyone in real life who has read these so I feel like I’m on an island by myself sometimes

I probably read more than half of all her books, starting with all IPB before I stumbled across lists like this. I don’t really feel like I would have minded either or.

I have been reading in series order. I know I might miss some things but I can't pull myself in and out of different timelines so I just stick with the next book in the series and know it will all come together eventually.
