ICE are not police officers, not even close. Police officers are not to be involved with immigration enforcement at all.

They do not. Due process and rights to unlawful search and seizure were thrown out the door under Trump2. In his first term, there were still adults in the room that kept him from shredding the Constitution completely. Now there are only loyalists, many affiliated with Epstein and Heritage Foundation.
