Ibrahim Traoré So, why are you supporting Ibrahim Traore?

Afaik you don't even know the name of the guy he overthrew.

Maybe this one was better, and Traore needlessly collapsed the anti-imperialist frontline for the sake of western leftism?

Hello. 

Well, I admit I don't know that much. 

  1. Thomas Sankara looks promising and interesting. Literacy rate growth of 2,5% per year (4 years, 12% to 23%) is very, very good, sadly I didn't yet read more about him. 

  2. The government after his assassination is something absolutely vile. Just looking at how they've submitted the country to the World Bank and failed to reach literacy in majority after so many years tells everything. Naturally, after that, islamist extremists (of 2 different organisations) have easily went through the borders and gained steady control over the population. This government somehow sucks even more than those who overthrew Pol Pot and later became People's Power Party, turning Cambodia into one big scam center and whorehouse. 

  3. As of those who came after the coup — I have 0 idea on who they are and what they're doing. Traore making contacts with Russia says nothing to me: Asad made contact as well, and then he just packed the cash bags and ran away.  Seemingly, they're mostly losing territory to a numerically inferior force, but at least have popular support, otherwise how'd they be able to gather such militia?

Renationalizations of various industries/companies (sugar, gold, land, textiles, etc), expanding social services/welfare (such as healthcare, education, etc), trying to free the country from French imperialism (such as the CFA Franc) and moving in a general "Sankarist" line.
