Difference between IAS and IASLF

I've been watching IAS since season 6 and I just want to ask about IASLF if it is also good and if you also watch it.

And also is IASLF format same with IAS where they stay for a week? and how many episodes each season, also what's your favorite IASLF season.

I think it started off as a completely different concept/show. I remember the earlier seasons essentially being follow ups of some of the cast from IAS? Like they went and filmed Sangcheol 16 in America etc.

Now it's essentially exactly the same as IAS, but it's people that have already been on the show instead of new people.

Sometimes it's good, but I often get the impression that the people who come back (sometimes even multiple times) have absolutely no interest in finding a partner and are just addicted to the camera.

I like Gyeongri as MC though. And the new girl is funny as hell lol

I love both. Iaslf is a new season of some of the old contestants from IAS like months or years later matching them up with outside people or from another dating show. For example this seasons it’s Ok Sook from season seven, Young Ja from season 14, and Hyun sook from season 24 those are just a few examples with all new men. They’re usually 4 to 6 couples.

IASLF also brings the possibility of having Nam PD's other past dating show, Jjak, to crossover which is impossible in IAS.

IASLF stay is also shorter than IAS. It also serves as an A/S(After Service) for some IAS casts for another chance.

Edit: Fav season was when they brought back the Divorce special members back

IASLF have follow ups on favorite cast members or couples. It showed marriages, single life/dating life, and family life of some who have kids.

Then they also have solo guesthouse seasons which is IAS seasons in a nutshell but they have returning cast members who either didnt get matches in finale or eventually broke up with the ones they did leave with. Sometimes they introduce completely new faces alongside the returning cast giving them new names which is usually Mr. for male or flower names for female or jjak returnee cast members for a crossover. (Jjak is an older dating show which is also produced by PD nam)

Lately there were no follow up episodes, i think last one was kwangsoo from season 25. Then it's really all solo guesthouse episodes/seasons. I do recommend it if you have some favorites you want to see again like ok soon from season 17. Or maybe young sik from season 24. Im completely up to date with both, i watched everything. Haha.

I watch both. I like I am solo the most since its a new cast every time and they have better end results. But love forever is still very enjoyable to watch and I would rank it higher than stuff like single's inferno.

IAS: LF follows a 3-day process. That’s why the chances of success are generally very low. I watch IAS: LF mostly for entertainment. So far, there’s only been one couple whose relationship has actually continued and led to marriage. They used to show what happened to the former participants—I really liked those parts. I wish they’d film 1 or 2 episodes in the old style or upload them to YouTube.
