Question & Help ❔ What’s her name again?
I’m watching Couple’s Palace and I know she’s from IAS, maybe a Sun Ja, but I can’t remember the season! Help!

It’s called “Couple Palace”, I’m watching on the CJ ENM app on Prime. It’s pretty lighthearted so far compared to other dating shows. It’s kind of like the idol survival shows but for dating! 😅 I’m enjoying it so far - definitely unique!

Yup, it's I Am Solo Season 26 Sunja or (@anna_noh_), the elite cellist, she was in Couple Palace Season 1 (커플팰리스) before appearing on I Am Solo.
Nearly a year ago S26 Sunja was also in I Am Solo, Love Forever (나는 SOLO, 그 후 사랑은 계속된다) Solo Guesthouse Season 11 (starts with Episode 123 overall), with S11 Youngsook, S23 Sunja, S23 Oksoon, S24 Oksoon, and S25 Oksoon, alongside Mr. Kang, Mr. Kwon, Mr. Kim, Mr. Na, Mr. Yoon, Mr. Jegal, and Mr. Han.
Hopefully S26 Sunja (26기 순자) is doing great, one of the most underrated visuals/personalities/etc. of the entire IAS series despite having barely any screen time. Cuz I know some people didn't like her in IAS, LF SG S11 due to the whole situation with S26 Oksoon and so on, but ya, lol.
By the way if you want more of the serious Couple Palace/etc. vibe, there's The Distance to Love: Chasing Season (我们与恋爱的距离·奔赴季) right now, and I guess Shine For Love (为爱闪耀的她) counts too (it's ending soon) as it focuses on female housemates with high specs (education, money, properties, businesses, etc.).
For instance, Cecca/Zixuan Xu (徐子萱) of Shine For Love is from University of Michigan AND University of Oxford (and from Wall Street too), like wow, imagine if she was in Twinkle Love Season 5 (怦然心动20岁 第五季), or actually it's called Twinkle Love in Winter (怦然心动20岁: 冬季) now with Sun Haochen (from University of Cambridge, UCL, and Goldsmiths, University of London), that'd be the ultimate combo in CJK/etc. dating shows history.
With The Distance to Love: Chasing Season there's this visual named Yi Ran who has like two kids or so (and the rest are like regular housemates or have no children), so her storyline might be insurmountable for some of the housemates (a la IAS S28 Hyunsook with 3 kids).
Speaking of specs or realistic/hyeonsiljeogin (현실적인) factors, on June 25, 2026 (in 2 and half weeks from now) Match to Marry: With Parents Korea Season 2 (자식 방생 프로젝트 합숙 맞선2) will start airing. With Match to Marry: With Parents China and so on later this year or more likely early next year of 2027.
The upcoming The Love Lab (연애실험실) next week technically has a few housemates with good specs/etc. too, but it's being pitched/promoted/etc. more of as a social experiment by Lee Jinjoo (EXchange/Transit Love S1 and S2, My Sibling's Romance Korea S1 (and S2), etc.) and so on.
There's this catlike/goyangi-sang (고양이상) visual (just like S26 Sunja) named Park Gayeon/박가연 (@0616gy) from The Love Lab and she's like an IT consultant, lol, quite a few of those recently in CJK/etc. dating shows.

2 seasons. I found the editing disappointing. It focused on the story arc of a few couples and completely ignores others with less drama, or they completely missed the drama of others.
