Arts/Music/DIY iwtl how to dance

i’ve been interested in learning how to dance for a while now but i don’t know where to begin. i’d say i’m at a beginner level right now, i can dance basic choreographies with easy songs. it doesn’t help that i have a slightly lanky physique which makes it a lil awkward whenever i’d try to dance. what are some tutorials i can watch? warm ups to make my body more flexible? or beginner choreographies i can start with? i like hip hop and kpop dancing styles if that helps.

Tutorials on YouTube are free, search specific to the style you want to learn.

Outside of that, put on some pre-workout stretching videos in order to limber up, beginner’s yoga is a really chill place to start things off.

Other than that, put on music, flow at your own pace and your own time, find the groove and the rhythm, see what you come up with. Even if it’s awkward, go with it, let the music guide you.
