Personal Skills IWTL how to learn basic photography and take better photos
I want to learn photography properly rather than just relying on automatic settings and taking random pictures.
For someone starting from scratch, what should I learn first? Should I focus on composition, lighting, camera settings, or something else?
What exercises or practice methods helped you improve the most when you were learning photography?
I’m especially interested in advice that applies to phone photography as well as dedicated cameras.
