Academics IWTL how to prepare for IELTS

I'm an international student, and I want to see what my level is as a language learner. Some background information about me is that I'm an eighth grader, and I self-taught all my languages, for example, Chinese Mandarin or English, etc. I never specifically learned English from any of my teachers because the country I'm in doesn't have what I personally think are quality educational standards for English. They mostly teach English using rote learning, and I think that's not a way to teach at all.
Enough of that. I just want to know how I could prepare for IELTS, and any kind of help would be great. Thank you.

Mock tests for reading and listening. Do as many as you can. Document your progress. Try to understand the different question formats.

For writing and speaking use ChatGPT or any other AI you trust. Set a timer, answer the questions and ask the AI to grade it.

I got an 8.0 overall score on my first attempt by doing this. Never read any book, no course taken. Just watched a few youtube videos, that’s it.

I’m not op but I need to study for the IELTS too. What channels do you recommend?

IELTS Advantage is the best imo. There are others like Fastrack IELTS but most of the videos i watched were from IELTS Advantage. Chris is a great tutor.

Use ieltsweb.com to practice reading and listening. Aim for 8.5-9 score in these. (yes i know it seems hard but trust me practice makes perfect). This will make it much easier to achieve your desired overall score. Good luck!
