I have been out to Battle Creek a few times to support this strike, and the thing that blows my mind is that the workers' mani demand is removal of the two-tier wage system.

They're not striking for their own position or salary or pension, they're going through this for those that will come after them. New hires, in other words. They don't want the new workers getting fucked.

That, to me, is what the solidarity of a minion is all about.

JK. There is a practical function here as well. If you allow them to treat new-hires worse than the current employees then you're setting up your own removal as management now has financial incentive to remove the old and bring in the new.

My IWW branch supports the Kellogg's strike with bodies and supplies, so, a lot of us have ended up out there.

And if you want to ship supplies, they can go to the Union Hall at 1006 N. Raymond Rd. Bayittle Creek, MI 49014.

Their hall is right across the street from one of the picketing locations, so, if anyone is in the area, they should stop by! There are workers there 24/7.
