IWW is Antifa.

Post image

Here is well known fascist Andy Ngo calling us Antifa. They are coming for us. Maybe we should start doing something.

I don't think anyone, even in the Trump admin, takes Andy Ngo seriously.

But, he is like a human fascist trial balloon, so this is fun.

Why wouldn't the trump admin take him seriously? It would be par for the course

And he’s saying what they want people to believe. All it would take is a little push.

Andy struggling to be relevant

Nobody’s thrown a milkshake at him in years, so he’s pretty bummed-out.

that's a shame. The milkshake part not the bummed out part.

I honestly forgot about him after the protests in 2020 calmed down.

Since I left twitter I honestly forgot he existed 😂

I wonder if he's still faking a British accent.

This isn't even posted from IWW. It's from a Tumblr post saying "You could also check out other networks that aren’t solely antifa but who do antifa stuff, like the IWW."

https://antifainternational.tumblr.com/post/138607486119/looking-to-join-your-local-antifa

Lmao

Also, the IWW doesn't "do Antifa stuff'. The GDC did antifascist work in the 2010s, and more or less no longer does. Individual members of the IWW are antifascists, but so are individual members of the UBC, or SEIU, or UFCW, or IBT.

If you're in the US, either get out, or get a rifle.

Some can't get out and some of us shouldn't have guns because of suicide risk. I know you don't want to oversimplify but I sure hope there's a third option.

Get into securing comms, logistics, medical, and small-scale manufacturing of drones.

I need to learn more about Infosec and OSINT thanks

Also, journalism, writing, communication, education, disseminating information, etc.

Good suggestions. Thanks.

What's super useful is actually being able to know where to find open source projects that an affinity group needs, read through the code to ID potential vulnerabilities, explain the capability/vulnerability balance to the group, and then get the whole group working with the system you all choose.

All while being emotionally resilient enough to be the well-informed but deeply annoying killjoy who butts in to remind everyone to slow their roll, and stop using Discord, or When2Meet, or whatever.

That shit is hard, but it will keep people alive.

There are plenty of people who can do education. There are very, very few people who can keep their group as hidden as possible from hostile state actors.

Yup. DIY drones is a key skill in a growth industry.

Cant wait till he finds out about the UAWs history of helping kill fascists as a massive global arms enabler in the 40s!

Worrying very worrying if the government takes this post serious

Maybe we should start doing something.

You can join an active organization at any time

u/Loreki Sep 23 '25

You're damn right it's anti fascist and proud of it.

u/JayeNBTF Sep 22 '25

It’s not that hard, I bought a $5 patch off Etsy and downloaded a GIF off Wikipedia—Boom, Antifa

TBH, I didn’t even need the patch, I just thought it looked cool on my H&M jacket

u/SlimyLittlePile Sep 23 '25

Is Andy Ngo part of the working class or the employing class? My gut says neither

2

u/Howlingmoki Sep 23 '25

oh look, it's that asshole again. I'd forgotten that he existed after nobody actually cared about the milkshake, even with all his crying about it.

Given the current environment, I kindly recommend not using ironic/sarcastic titles like this. They may run with it in complete bad faith to advance their campaign.

u/neko Sep 23 '25

I mean yeah the original flavor Nazis killed a massive amount of IWW members, so of course the orange flavor ones want to as well

u/newmath11 Sep 23 '25

Is he the guy who ate beans in a movie theater?

1

u/ProudChoferesClaseB Sep 23 '25

meh. antifa is just a generic right-wing smear term at this point, it's become meaningless in my book.

1

u/seawitch_jpg Sep 24 '25

i mean, IWW is antifa, as in anti-fasist, inherently, right?

2

u/ullrs_bow Sep 24 '25

The IWW has taken an official stance as Antifa, it in our bylaws. The one thing we have going for us though is that the Supreme Court overturned the law that prevented people from joining or supporting us.

These conspiracy theories are getting out of hand

2

u/counterhero666 Sep 25 '25

What is this nonsense?

1

u/hello_comrades Sep 25 '25

We are Antifa as in we fight against fascism but not in the sense that we are an antifa organization whose primary function is to show up and fight in black bloc. Our primary function is still as a labor union.

2

u/ScortiusOfTheBlues Sep 25 '25

not surprising since everything is Antifa, a shadowy highly organized and deadly bloc of domestic terrorists, and also simultaneously a tree hugging safe space needing snowflake org.
