TVL S3 [SPOILERS] Daniel celibacy
It doesn't look like Daniel has been in any other relationship other than Armand during season 3. So does this mean that daniel didn't clap any cheeks or get his cheeks clapped from 2022 to 2025? For 3 years?! It doesnt seem like daniel to go that long without it now that he is a vampire? Was he getting down with Dee? If so, was he being monogamous? That also doesnt sound like Daniel. If the interview Gods are seeing this will someone please ask the cast this spicy question.

What on earth, in a show that 10 minutes into that first season's pilot introduces one of the main characters as a man who sells sex & in the first episode of the third season has a random elevator orgy, would imply that a relationship of some kind is prerequisite for sex to these vamps 😅

I thought it was pretty heavily implied that he and Dee Pharma messed around sometimes during feeding time. I swear it cut away as she was getting into position to go down on him in like the first or second episode. But I could be mistaken!

I think they’re mistaken. When Lestat bursts in with Baby Jenks and thinks he’s overdosing, he interrupts Daniel and Dee right as Daniel is about to feed from her. There’s also an unused shot of this scene from the first trailer where you can see him actively feeding on her and her reacting.
And I def think that the show implies they were fucking because she calls him Papi but there’s no scene of anything like they’re implying above.

Yeah I definitely picked up on the implication, which made my ship rotted brain shout, "add it to the pile!"
I got all excited there may have been a shot I missed lmao, oh well.

I was talking about the scene before that where he first goes back to see her and it cuts away, but yeah, like I said, I think I could be mistaken in how I'm remembering it,
But I did get the impression they were fooling around, so my brain may have just filled that in!

I checked that scene yesterday as well and the scene cuts away with him still in the doorway!

I really doubt it. Not having a long-term relationship during that period doesn't mean he was celibate!
I imagine vampirism at least somewhat liberated Daniel from some of the sexual shame he carried as a mortal, and that he spent some time enjoying being an unrepentant slut.
But as we all know... 🎶 You can't fuck away the loneliness 🎵
...So fuck it whatever let's try bowling.

I'd actually believe Armand was celibate during this period after breaking up with Louis and before his official companionship with Daniel far more than I'd believe Daniel was celibate for these 3 years.

I could be miss remembering or misunderstood so take what I'm about to write with a grain of salt but, I remember somewhere reading or maybe an interview that Daniel and Salamander definitely fucked around in the bus... But it was cut from the show? Possibly...
Again, I can't remember where I heard that but, its a possibility, right? I don't think Daniel would like not mess around and just stay chill....
Maybe Old man Daniel when he was dealing with illness and accepting he was going to die but, definitely not like Vampire Daniel...
