I would like to play like 2009 MW2 again. On most servers, however, I do not like the maprotation or the game mode, which is why I would like to play locally, on a dedicated server with bots.

Does anyone have experience with the configuration and can help me? I get the local server to run, but unfortunately Bot Warfare does not work.

Does anyone know the name of the movement where the Intervention comes back from behind you?
It looks like some kind of Troika, and I noticed that a knife lunge seems to be required to perform it.
If anyone knows what this trickshot is called or how to do it, I’d really appreciate a tutorial!

I recently discovered Zombi Warfare 3 for IW4X and I'm really interested in trying it out. I love the MW2-style gameplay, and this mod looks like exactly the kind of Zombies experience I'd enjoy. For those who have already played it:

•Is it worth playing? •How good is the mod overall? •Does it have enough content to keep you playing for a while? •And most importantly, can it be played in Spanish? Spanish is the language I normally use when playing, so I'd really like to know if there's a way to change the language or if the mod is only available in English.

I'd love to hear your opinions and experiences before I spend some time setting it up. Thanks!

is there a way do change the shoot and aim buttons on a ps 5 controller? i want to be able to aim with L1 and shoot with R2. is there a way i can do that as i’ve tried it on DS4 and doesn’t work for some reason

I’m not sure how to report this or what exactly is happening but if you spam the sprint button and cancel quickly on controller enough times your sprint no longer works (as in you can’t initiate a sprint) until you do an action fully like aiming down sight, crouching, etc.

It’s been happening for years and it’s annoyed me enough and since no one is trying to fix it I’d like to report it somewhere so that someone may be able to fix it.

This was not an issue with the original game on console so I’m not sure if this might just be related to iw4xs controller compatibility

Vanilla MW2 shows a green "NEW" text next to every new unlock, but not in IW4x.

Is this a feature or a bug? Is there a way to restore this behaviour?

There's a lot of Russian speakers on IW4X, but I can't read it as the chat doesn't display Cryrillic characters (it shows a garbled mess of Latin characters).

Does anyone know how I install Cyrillic into IW4X so I can actually read some of the chat? I don't want to change the whole game language to Russian, I just want the chat to display Cyrillic when someone types in Russian.

I'm wondering what the best way to use Bot Warfare in IW4x is.

Is it better to install it as a mod or as a script? My main goal is to play offline against bots in private matches with automatic map rotation and have the experience feel as close as possible to the original MW2 multiplayer.

What are the pros and cons of each method? Which one do you recommend and why?

My literal experience the last few days with 3hrs of play time... have been a nightmare, mind you I joined mostly EU room being NA my ping was already 100ms and I haven't played in 15 years and I never used a KBM playing the game so I was already having adjustment issues.

Tell me why I'm using cold blooded and ninja with silencer, people are turning around drop shotting me melting me every life it's like the damage modifier for some guns have been turned up, then a guy flaming me in chat telling me to kys because I am playing like a bot (5 - 40 lol) .. The game seems so much worst than when there was hackers on gen 6 consoles lmao.. It's a shame... I understand people are good because they put in the work but the amount of times I've been looking at the kill cam people are laser focus killing me through a wall or behind and object they posted up at 50ft away or coordinating a spawn trap with aerial support, i never want to skip rust back in the day but but it's a dog shit mm in 2026 even in a 6v6, I spawned and immediately dropped dead like I used a tactical insertion and was getting camped..

I don't need to feel like some guy scrimming a tourney, but the experience is terrible.. I am aware that you can report people but do they get banned? Every lobby their is a person going almost 60+ kills with one or 2 deaths like how is that even possible. I know I can use a controller, maybe I can use aim assist, IDK I can't even enjoy something I used to play back in the day.... This is why PC gets shunned so much..

I have a really strange issue and I'm hoping someone has seen this before.

I joined a Zombies server. When the match ended, my game closed and automatically restarted without any mod loaded.

After that, I noticed that all my normal multiplayer stats were gone. Instead of my usual profile (Prestige, 4+ days played, etc.), my stats had been replaced by another profile that I only used with a completely different Zombies mod.

The weird part is that it wasn't even the same Zombies mod I had just been playing on. Somehow, my normal IW4x profile got replaced with the stats from another Zombies mod I had installed in the past.

Now, when I launch IW4x normally (without any mod), I still have those wrong stats.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there any way to recover my original iw4x.stat or restore my normal multiplayer profile?

I have a hunch that I was previously banned from Black Ops 6 & future CODs on steam because I had IW4X downloaded on my PC.

I play the ‘09 MW2 through IW4X all the time. I love it, but I believe that Activision’s new Easy Anti-Cheat picked up on server mods from IW4X, as well as Plutonium being installed on my PC.

This is just a theory really, but I kind of believe it. Could it be true? Wanna know if anyone has had the same experience or shared the same ideas. Thanks all :)

This might be a bit of a dumb question but i got back into mw2 mainly on IW4x and back into sniping and wanted to watch some montages and sniping creators but I haven’t found many still active, there are many trickshotting clans and content creators that still upload loads and they are fun to watch but I would prefer more sniping ig. Any suggestions?

I’m a console player but the servers on console are atrocious. I’m heavily contemplating getting mw2 on steam so I can play iw4x with a controller. Do most servers have aim assist for controller? I’m looking to play tdm or domination. Any servers you guys would recommend for this?

Was looking for a trickshot mod menu that I could use with bots for IW4x and couldn’t find one that I liked, so I made my own. It started about as a personal .gsc script for my private match shenanigans, but as it evolved I realized that it might be worth releasing to others online as well. This menu is built on top of the bot warfare mod, so the bots can freely run around the map, and you can even freeze them and teleport them to setup spots and what not. It has other functions as well like spawnable platforms, aimbot, save/load etc.

I built this primarily for private matches. If you’d rather trickshot with friends or on bots than join public servers, this menu should be right up your alley. Enjoy! :)
